• System Data, explained. A card under the disk gauge breaks the grey

"System Data" bar into what it really is — caches, logs, iPhone backups, Xcode and simulators, virtual machines, downloaded AI models, Mail attachments and more — with a plain-language note for each, and adds only the safe ones to Cleanup. On a full-Mac scan it also shows the space no app can see, such as local Time Machine snapshots.

• Empty the Trash from the cleanup summary. After a cleanup you can see the

free space before and after, and empty the Trash in one step once you have confirmed exactly how many items it holds.

• Since your last scan. When you rescan the same place, the overview tells

you in one sentence which folders grew the most.

• Agents & CLI. Switch on agent access in Settings and AI assistants such as

Claude Desktop, Claude Code and Cursor can scan your Mac, read the results and add items to your cleanup list. They can never delete anything: items an agent adds are labelled, and Clean stays disabled until you tick that you have reviewed them. Agent access is off until you turn it on, and the connection never leaves your Mac.

• A Settings window (⌘,) with General, Scanning, Cleanup, Agents & CLI,

Account and About sections, including "Reopen last scan on launch".

• An optional notification when a scan finishes while the window is in the

background.

• Back and forward in Explore with ⌘[ and ⌘], plus back and forward buttons

next to the path. Long paths fold their middle folders into a menu.

• Share a note about your cleanup, or send us a quote by email. Nothing is

sent unless you send it yourself.

• APFS clones are counted once. Files that share their blocks with another

file used to be counted twice; the totals now match the space actually used, and the inspector says when a file is a clone.

• The scan summary now counts folders that were skipped because they are in

iCloud only or could not be read.

• Quick Look opens Finder's own preview panel.
• The window remembers its size and position.
• Long lists — duplicates, Quick Wins, applications and the Age Map — scroll

smoothly however many rows they have.

• Free space shown while a cleanup runs updates steadily instead of on every

item.

Fixed

• VoiceOver and keyboard users can reach every folder in the map views, not

only the first 800.

• Locked previews can no longer be focused or clicked.
• The Unlock button now tells the website you came from the app, so the

page after payment reminds you to come back and press Connect.

• Monitor is now free to watch. The live rankings, the "likely warming your

Mac" list and every explanation work without a purchase; quitting a process from inside the app is still part of the unlock.

• The storage bar at the top of Explore now adds up to the scan total: what

is not shown as a named folder appears as "Other" instead of empty space.

• Disk gauges stay neutral while the disk is healthy and turn amber or red

only when space is actually getting tight, including when only a few gigabytes are left on a large drive.

• Folder cards are more compact, so more of a folder fits on screen.
• After a cleanup, the summary reports how many items were removed and lists

every item that could not be, instead of an estimated number of gigabytes freed. Items sent to the Trash free their space when the Trash is emptied.

• Quick Wins shows one shared explanation only when it is true of every item

in the list; otherwise each item keeps its own reason.

Fixed

• Scanning no longer hangs on iCloud Drive. Folders and files that are not

downloaded ("dataless" items) used to make the scan wait, sometimes for many minutes, while macOS fetched them; the app now never triggers a download. Evicted folders show as "not scanned" and evicted files count their real size on this disk, which is zero. A full home-folder scan that used to stall now finishes in under a minute.

• Live scan counters update four times a second instead of ten, which keeps

• Scan your home folder, any folder, an external volume or the whole Mac, with

a live board of counts and folder cards while it runs. The last scan reopens instantly the next time you launch.

• Eight ways to see the result: Folders, Treemap, Sunburst, Flame, Bubbles,

Mind map, Top sizes and Age map. All free.

• An inspector for any item: size on disk versus logical size, APFS

compression, share of the scan, dates, and the largest things inside.

• Quick Wins: caches, logs, browser caches, Xcode DerivedData, iOS simulator

runtimes, node_modules and other build folders, package-manager caches, Docker, the Trash and large untouched media — each with a safety tier and a plain-English reason before anything is staged.

• Cleanup to the Trash by default, so Finder's "Put Back" works. Permanent

deletion needs the exact item count typed first.

• Duplicates by content hash, Applications with their leftover support files,

and Snapshots that show what grew since an earlier scan.

• Monitor: names the processes that have actually been warming the Mac,

says whether each belongs to macOS, an app, a helper or a tool, explains what it is doing and what to do about it, and flags memory that keeps climbing. Quitting a process from here is offered only when it is safe.
